FINALLY!
Just when I was really wondering why the hell I live in Texas, it rains. Its been raining since this morning and supposed to keep up all day!
In other news, we went to get Izaiah's picture taken this weekend because I had a free coupon. Take my advice AVIOD The Picture People studios!!! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!
Firstly, the girl taking the pictures had poor control of the camera and most of the pictures came out fuzzy, or she missed snapping it when he was smiling, a skill CRUCIAL for a good baby photographer. Then instead of just showing us a proof sheet of all the poses, we had to wander around the stupid mall for an hour and wait for them to make prints and they didn't even print all the poses! THEY picked the "best ones" which were not very good. Glynn asked to look at all the negatives and picked a pose they didn't print, and it was the best one by far. He has such a sweet look on his face! In the end we got my free 10X13 and 2 5X7s and had a magnet made of one other pose. All in all I got some cute pictures, but the total was $40!!! for 2 stinking pictures and a magnet!! So I will stick with Target. Oh and on another note, maybe the 10X13 is too big! Its really hard to find a frame that isn't $30!
Other than that, things are going ok. We are shocked by our huge power bill but we always seem to get by.
We go in for our final consult for our surgeries tomorrow, so we will set our dates then. I am thinking sometime in late September for me and then a few months later for Glynn. Pureed food here we come!
Izzy is going what one might call a clingy phase, I call it a DRIVING MOMMY BAT-SHIT CRAZY!!! phase. I can't do one thing with little hands pulling on my pants, or following me, or lying on the floor whining and crying when I put him down or don't pick him up. Sure it was cute at first, but after a few days I have had it! When he actually was impeding me from going to the bathroom without a fit on the filthy public bathroom floor, I think i just about lost it. Here I am with my pants around my knees, having to pee really really bad and my baby is about to roll around on the floor with who-knows-what on it and scream his displeasure. So I ended up doing a super gunfighter quick move where I put him down for an instant, sat on the toilet and then pulled him onto my lap, just in time to avoid the roll of dispair on the floor. And where is Glynn for all of this? He so very nicely dropped us off at the door to keep us out of the heat and then went to park. So I'm in the ladies room and all alone with no hope of Pappi assistance.
Hopefully he will grow out of this soon, I miss my independant boy. And its not really THAT bad, but it wears on me after a full Saturday of whineyness.
