Polyphonic Spree! and the dentist!

Well we had quite an evening. I found out Glynn's favorite band, The Polyphonic Spree, was gonna play at The Granada down on Greeville and since the tickets were super cheap we decided to go. After standing...and standing...and waiting...and waiting...and enduring two pretty suckey opening bands, (almost a 20 minute song with high screechy noise and no lyrics you guys). We were finally ready to see the Spree do their thing! The show was super cool, we really enjoyed the new songs and the new costumes. One of the choir girls was just as pregnant as I was when we saw them last year, I thought one more bounce and that kid is gonna fall out!
The Spree were in fine form, the cover they did of Lithium was really great we were shouting the words and really feeling the love in the room it was pretty great. And then the crazy drummer jumped off the stage into the audience and kind of tumbled over the counter we were behind, Glynn helped him over, it was fun!
We also met a guy who flew all the way from New York to see them! He was so excited it made me more excited and into the music. Plus during the opening bands, the lead singer was right behind us watching and he got to shake his hand, he was really stoked about that, it was cool.
So overall it was a pretty great show, I must admit however that The Granada has not been my most favorite concert venue. The acoustics were poor and I had a hard time hearing lyrics at times; The stage hands were also pretty slow at getting the next band set-up so we waited a LOOOOONG time between bands and it was 10 before The Spree started; the concert last year in the Forth Worth Botanical Gardens was much better for the music.

Then after our funa and frivolity and getting home at 1:30am, (Cyndy babysat and slept over). I had to do to the dentist at 7am. And I'm happy to report that I have no cavities!! Hooray!! My teeth rule!!
Is it weird that I get some real satisfaction when the dentist tells me I have really good teeth!? He said they were excellent and I do a good job flossing. Hooray for flossing!!! If you aren't doing it, go do it when you get home. I admonish you to floss!!!!!!

So that's our little mini-adventure followed by the dentist, hope you enjoyed it. Peace-out yo.
