When you are a parent I mean. I never thought I'd be doing a little happy dance over poop, but I did this morning. Izaiah dropped a duece in his little potty this morning, I was so happy I could barely contain my joy. Things are weird after you procreate.
Izaiah got some ant bites yesterday. He came out from behond the tree in the backyard, holding his hands out, and crying. His hands were covered in those mean little suckers. He got bitten about five times on each hand. His poor little fingers got all swollen and red.
He really was a trooper though. He stopped crying right after I washed them all off his hands, and after I put the witch hazel on he stopped whimpering altogether and was ready to back outside.
Did you guys know that witch hazel soothes ant bites? I just learned that last summer. I was just using it for an astringent, but its great for bug bites, it really works!
