Al Gore is right!!! Climate change is real!!!
Its really not supposed to snow here, its kind of weird, but magical at the same time. I have really been missing pretty winter weather; here in Dallas all the pretty fall leaves fall off and then everything is all ugly and dead for 3-4 months. I remember waking up to a magical sparkly fairyland as a kid. The snow would be hardened from the overnight freeze, so much that we could walk on top of snow drifts and we'd have to scoot over the iced streets walking to school. Christmas morning was always a magical wonderland, after we opened toys I would stare out the picture window behind the tree looking at the ice on the branches of the pear tree on the corner.
Someday we will have a White Christmas with the boys. I figure we will wait till they are a little older so they will always remember their first snowy Christmas.
