We had a pretty nice and restful holiday, it SUCKS to go back to work after 4 whole days to ourselves. We had a traditional southern TG meal at the Crappa's with our adopted extended family on the Sunday before TG. I hung out with my friend Leah in Allen on Tuesday and I enjoyed a nice lunch at Red Lobster with the handful of my coworkers at work on Wednesday, and then SLEEP in on Thursday! Glynn picked up a brisquet from our favorite BBQ place, (Baker's Ribs, best BBQ in Dallas!), the day before and we enjoyed enjoyed enjoyed it. We welcomed Glynn's Mom and her husband Dave later that evening and watched old movies on cable. We had our pictures taken on Friday morning (I'll post them tonite), after Glynn braved Wal-Mart at 5AM for a Black Friday electronics sale. We got the tree up for Nightmare Before Christmas Christmas this year, along with Killer Wreath!! (Pictures coming soon!)
We spent Saturday in Waco at the Homestead Farms annual Children's Craft Fair; we loved spending the time with Nama, Pa-pa and our friends, the Brown Family. We enjoyed holding baby chicks, going on a hay ride, eating the fabulous food and just enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. The church on Sunday with my first day as the Nursery Leader, wee! I love nursery!!! Then back to work this morning...Real life is a scam, it sucks, I wish we could be on holiday all the time!
