Labor Day Weekend

The pictures are out of order, but here is what we did: Friday was uneventful, we stayed home; Saturday we went to Plano so I could go to a beading class at a beautiful Methodist church. I made a really cute bead and copper wrapped spoon while Glynn and the boys played outside on the playground equipment at the church, then we went to Central Market for a yummy lunch followed by our favorite place in Dallas, the Arboretum. After that the boys were pooped so we headed home. Sunday we went to church and to the Brown's for a birthday party, ate lots of yummy yummy cake and hung around with our friends. Monday we went to a pic-nic sponsored by the Dallas Democrats and signed lots and lots of judge petitions. LOTS!! But the food was good and we saw lots of friends; then we packed up and the boys fell asleep so we headed to Fort Worth were we just happened to turn into a park called the Trinity Park and found A MINIATURE TRAIN!!! Wow were we excited!!! This may be Izaiah's all time new favorite thing to do! We had a nice time riding the train and eating popcorn. After that we went over to The Botanical Gardens but we did not stay long; Jaxon kept getting too close to the water and we were overrun by ants, so we ended our day at beautiful as always Joe T. Garcia's Fiesta Gardens. We had a nice relaxing weekend, so how come I am so tired? :)

Wow! Go go go! Sounds like a super weekend--but very tiring! ours was very mellow and quiet. Just nice having the kids home one extra day from school!

How fun - it sounds like a fun and busy weekend. Having fun just gets exhausting.

Aw...my boys would love that train! There aren't any here in the boondocks of NM. I miss Texas, especially the trees (and my friends, or course).
