Night Night Time

So, I'm putting Sweet Baby-J to bed and I just can't stand the screaming anymore so I go back and rock him and sing to him until he falls asleep, then its do or dare time, the transfer to the crib that will end in either: more screaming or actual snuggle down and sleep time. (This has been pretty hard since we went cold turkey on the pacifier a few days ago.) I shift his head into my elbow and summon all my ninja skills to roll and lower at the same time without any sudden moves. He goes into prime sleeping position! Fetal position on his tummy. Success! Then defeat, he shifts down the pillow and wiggles onto his side, THEN....he reached under the pillow and produces a green pacifier!!! Takes a big sigh and closes his eyes. He stashed it under there for when times were rough!!! Sweet Baby-J is a paci-junkie!!!
