This is Izaiah's first reward chart. Izaiah asks me nearly everyday to go to Sonic after school for chocolate milk, I like to take him to Sonic but its kind of hard to take him everyday. After going to a training at work about parenting I thought we'd give this a try. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! Izaiah was so excited to make the chart, he wandered around talking about how "Mommy just teaches me things and I just listen!" He really came home and put his shoes away and changed into house clothes without any reminders from me. And when he earned his reward he was so proud of himself!!
We made another chart this evening. He really likes being in control of his rewards instead of just asking and hoping I'm in the mood to take him, now he knows when he has earned it. Today I am a Mommy and a genius.

yes, a genius! i must remember this - maybe i will give it a shot for potty training in a couple of months.
