Wilcox Easter 2010

We sure packed in a lot of fun for Easter Weekend! The Easter Bunny was spotted on Saturday at Virginia Weaver Park (Start the bottom for sequenced events, I always do these things backwards!) so we scurried right over with a few friends to hunt eggs. Then we pic-nic-ed at the Arboretum and saw millions of tulips! The EB visited our house on Easter morning and left lots of goodies for good boys.
Izzy-Boy explained that EB is really just Santa in a bunny suit and after Easter he goes back to normal. See both guys do favors for Jesus, and give us presents because Jesus loves us.
After that we went out for Chinese. Don't ask me why, I just like eating Chinese food on Christian high holidays.
Then we went to see "How to Train Your Dragon" in 3D. WONDERFUL flick! While we waited for the movie to start we went to Borders and read Easter books.
After that the boys were exhausted and we went home for a nap and playing in the backyard. What a great holiday weekend!
PS. Don't worry Mom! We recorded GC and are watching it in the evenings. I like to watch GC with an only adult audience so I can pay attention and not be a jungle gym for two boys.

Sweet Baby-J bein' a ham.

Then we painted on ourselves!

Izzy-Boy's self portrait.

GG and Izzy-Boy got me a birdhouse for Easter; everyone helped paint it.

Sweet Baby-J found another golden egg!

YES!!! EB was here!

Coolin' those dogs!

The tulips are intoxicating.

Rolling down the hill.

Sweet Baby-J being silly.

Pic-a-nic in the park? Yes please!!

But what's in those eggs?

The golden egg!

Sweet Baby-J did pretty well.

This kid is ready to find those eggs!

Ready, Set.........GO!!!

Action packed weekend! And I love the PS to your mama. That's hilarious! Especailly because when she was reading this she was actually probably thinking, "what about GC?". Haha good one!

Yes I was! Actualy I missed most of GC this year myself. My Sister Sandra and her family were here from Oregon and I spent Sat. afternoon with her and then Sunday in Salt Lake with my sisters and brother and other assorted family members. We tried to listen to GC in the afternoon but it was not to be. I'll watch the reruns on BYUTV.
I loved the pictures Becca and I want to come to Texas you are having too much fun without me.
Are you still planning to come to Cedar for Heathers Graduation? May 28th.
